A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION / Kickstarting the Post / part 3

Hola,

Another day at the wheel with the workload of 100 men and loving it! Digging into the official trailer for A Little Less Conversation and all the footage that goes with it and wanted to post some stuff for the cast and crew that's been waiting patiently for the film to surface. In truth we had no one dedicated to a behind the scenes so the majority of candid footage we have is cut from outtakes. The camera was rolling as much as possible and I have a ton of footage that I love but can't use in the film because of technical issues or in some cases I allowed the improve to roll into a completely different film. It's hard when you have so much raw talent in one room not to experiment.

Paul Mogg (co-director) really supported a more avant-garde approach to film making and made me feel like it was ok for us to experiment. Paul has had years of experience and was an anchor for me. It was soon after I realized that Paul's artistic aesthetic makes David Lynch look grounded. This childlike is ability to throw caution to the wind mixed with his ability to deal with practical issues (deal with mother fucked crises) balance him out in a unique way. The man never loses his cool.

So - this is a short heartfelt collection of this and that. Everything from actual footage to cell phone clips from HD to Dick D. In camera sound and blindfolded grading!

There are no spoliers and I think everyone can appreciate the the genius of the casting here without revealing too much about the story. I'll knock out another one of these later this week. I included a few screen grabs of BIG MIKES COMICS because no post should be without BIG MIKE! You'll see him here in the roles of both twin Big MIke brothers alongside the dark beauty SHOOBIE DOO who got a crash course in comic bitchdom that night for sure.

This is for the cast and crew as well as any early ALLC adopters we're lucky to have on board- enjoy!

Love and Rockets,
DIG
