Dear Fashion Slaves,
I had the most unique private yesterday to OAKLEY'S main headquarters thanks to my mega talented friend the venerable James Lareau. James is the type of guy who can turn a pile of junk into work of art in less time than it takes you to fry an egg.
I've always been an enormous fan of Oakley's design aesthetic. No other brand has ever spoken to my personal taste in the same way and visiting their facility yesterday reignited my passion for all things Oakley. The exterior of the building is a fortress prepared for World War 3, complete with functional tank, torpedoes and giant spiked metal studs that emote a super strength yet somehow feel hypnotically inviting.
The cyber-industrial entrance design is based on an American Indian headdress. It's just brilliant! You feel as though you are walking into the mouth of a minimalist H.R. Giger painting. it was the first time in my life I fantasied about having......what do they call that again? Oh yeah... A JOB!
Whatever Kool Aid the staff are drinking looks rocking because I've never seen so many genuinely happy employees in my whole life.
LIVE LOVE DIG
